just built a highly illegal dual-CPU X68000. people should make more use of the MiSTer for weird retro fantasy console/arcade/computer experiments
actually, it looks like the 32X also has a m68k (TIL) alongside everything else and fits, so two m68k's would pretty likely fit alongside the rest of the out run hardware
gonna compile the X68000 core and see how many logic cells it uses, then see if i can hamfistedly shove a second Motorola 68000 CPU inside it and recompile to see how many logic cells THAT uses, to see if arcade Out Run might easily fit on the MiSTer
ah nice, turns out there's already another good solution for this: https://github.com/MiSTer-unstable-nightlies/Build-Automation_MiSTer
just successfully built a MiSTer core from source inside Docker https://github.com/ryanfb/quartus-lite
Since there’s a lot of new people trying out Mastodon, something to be cautious about: your DMs can be read by admins of your instance and the instance of the recipient, and when your toots cross an instance boundary, it’s possible for your private toots to get boosted. Some of the privacy guards in place on platforms you’ve used before don’t work the same here.
In case you feel like supporting the independent web today for some reason, PodQueue is 100% worker-owned (the worker is me)

"Isn't PodQueue the same thing as Huffduffer?" 🧐
Let's compare saving a link in PodQueue (about one second) vs. Huffduffer (about one minute): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htO1hD9uOF4

also there's been a CVE update for every non-EOL ruby for like a week with no corresponding heroku ruby buildpack update, extremely disconcerting
