The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) colour contrast information is great but it is limited.
You should test and consider more around colour including how colour blindness affects contrast.
Can read the overview of the guidelines here:
https://www.w3.org/TR/2008/REC-WCAG20-20081211/
Testing with real people is always preferable if you can.
You can simulate colour blindness with various tools though such as: https://colororacle.org
The contrast ratio can pass the guideline criteria but still be hard to read: https://mastodon.social/@giltay/100640303516475367
